Sterling Silver Japanese Shamisen Salt & Pepper Shakers 1960's Vintage - Two Sets! Intricately crafted shamisen salt & pepper shakers with sterling strings and a back "trap door" to use in filling them. This listing is for two sets of two sterling silver salt and pepper shakers. Total weight is 56 grams. These are approximately 4 inches in length and 1 inch in width. Would benefit from a good polishing.

The back of one salt shaker is darker and may have lost some of its luster. It appears that there are 3 shakers for pepper (5 holes) and one for salt (4 holes), but they of course can be used interchangeably.
