Japanese Sash/ Buckle with ornate flowers and reeds, Sterling Silver

  

This is a really nice old sterling silver belt buckle we bought from a collector. It is very ornate with figures on it, I think it is Japanese. It is solid silver, not silver plate.

We did not spend a whole lot of time researching all the markings but all of these are very old. We have just gently polished this up and it it really nice. It weighs 25.6 grams.

It measures 3 3/8" x 2 5/8". It is in excellent condition and all of the parts work. This is a nice piece and there is no damage.
