Carved Floral MOP Compact 950 Sterling Silver K Uyeda Japan. Japanese 950 sterling silver hinged rectangular form compact, having mirror and powder case inside. Front side is richly decorated with carved Mother of Pearl flowers.

Made by Kichigoro Uyeda in early 19th century. This outstanding compact is 3 5/8" long, 2 3/4" wide and weighs 159.3 grams.
